We are thrilled to announce the much-anticipated 2024 Mixed Cup. Thank you to those who provided valuable feedback to shape the event; this year promises to be bigger, better, and more exciting than ever before!

What’s New?

Incorporating valuable feedback from the 2023 participants, we have introduced exciting enhancements for the upcoming annual Mixed Cup Golf event. Changes include adopting an aggregate stableford scoring system for each round and the overall ladder position, scheduling rounds to avoid long-weekend Sundays, fostering camaraderie by encouraging players to team up with participants from their own or different teams, and urging everyone to join the PM shotgun start during the final round for an opportunity to be part of the event presentations and enjoy refreshments.

Event Details

Date: Sunday, 3 March | 2 June | 18 August | 27 October | 8 December
Team Composition: 6-8 golfers per team
Format: 5 Stableford Rounds
Conditions: Each team must include at least 3 women to be eligible.
Cost: $25.00 per person
Flexibility: Participants can nominate an AM or PM tee slot (with exception of last round where PM is strongly encouraged).

How it Works

To determine the team’s aggregate stableford score, we consider the cumulative scores of the top 3 players, ensuring representation from both genders with at least 1 male and 1 female player. It is crucial for players to be officially registered in the daily competition for their scores to be counted.

In preparation, players or team captains can proactively secure tee slots by reaching out to the GSC before the formal booking sheet opens. This early registration allows teams to nominate playing preferences, such as partnering with other team members or even participants from different teams. The GSC, whenever feasible, will allocate these registered players to tee slots alongside other enthusiastic Mixed Cup participants.

Countback Rules

in the event of a tie among two or more teams at the conclusion of the fifth round, a countback mechanism will come into play. The team with the most instances of finishing in the first position throughout the 5-round season will be designated the overall winner. In the rare case of a continued tie, the countback will then consider the frequency of second-place finishes and so forth until an unequivocal overall winner emerges.

Celebrate Success

Prizes, presentations, and post-golf catering await all participants after the final round, which will feature an afternoon shotgun start.
