We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Women’s Charity Day, proudly supporting Safe Steps. Safe Steps is a leading Family Violence Response Centre, offering crucial services to those affected by family or domestic violence. All money raised during this event will go directly towards supporting Safe Steps in their mission to provide specialist crisis services and assistance to individuals seeking to break free from violence.

Safe Steps is committed to providing comprehensive support to individuals impacted by family violence. From legal and court assistance to tailored initiatives for victim-survivors with disabilities through the Disability and Family Violence Crisis Response Initiative (DFVCRI), Safe Steps is a beacon of hope for those in need. Guest Speaker: Professor Kate Fitz-Gibbon

We are honoured to welcome Professor Kate Fitz-Gibbon, the Director of Monash Gender and Family Violence Prevention Centre, as our guest speaker. Professor Fitz-Gibbon is a renowned expert at the forefront of research and education aimed at preventing family violence. Her insights promise to be enlightening and empowering.

Event Details

  • Date: Thursday, 18th April
  • Time: 8:00 am shotgun start
  • Format: 4BBB Event
  • Lunch: Two-course lunch with guest speaker
  • Cost: $56.00 per person. No golf only option
  • Registration: Timesheets open on March 25th for those with guests and March 28th for members without guests.
  • Open to: All women members and their guests

Get Involved

On the day of the event, we encourage all participants to bring along cash to take part in various activities, including raffles, on-course competitions, auctions, donations, and more. Your contribution, big or small, will make a significant difference in supporting Safe Steps and their vital work.

Members’ accounts, including guests’ charges, will be processed prior to the event. Cancellations must be received 48 hours in advance to avoid billing. For any dietary requirements, please email: reception@springvalleygolf.com.au.
