Joining Process

Important Update – Proposer & Seconder Requirement

All new applicants must provide a Proposer and Seconder (current members of Spring Valley Golf Club) with their application.

The Proposer must have known the applicant for a minimum of 12 months in a social and/or professional capacity.
The listed Proposer will be contacted by the Club to verify the application and confirm compliance with Club policies, responsibilities, and membership conditions.
If the Proposer is unable to meet these requirements, or if the applicant does not have a Proposer at the Club, an interview will be required with the General Manager or a nominated Board representative prior to acceptance.

Complete the Waiting List Application Form and choose one of the following options:

Priority Waiting List – $7,500 Entrance Fee (non-refundable)
Secure your place on the Priority Waiting List and lock in the current entrance fee, protecting you from any future increases. Priority Waiting List applicants receive limited club access while waiting and priority consideration when positions become available.

Standard Waiting List – $1,000 Fee (non-refundable)
Join the waiting list and be notified when a membership position becomes available. The $1,000 payment will be credited toward your membership invoice if you proceed with joining.

Step 2: Waiting List Review

Membership intake opportunities are reviewed monthly by the Membership Committee, based on timesheet demand and membership movement.

When a position becomes available, offers are made in the following order:

-Current A-Restricted Members seeking to upgrade
-Priority Waiting List applicants
-Standard Waiting List applicants

Step 3: Membership Offer

When a position becomes available, you will be invited to join Spring Valley Golf Club as an A-Restricted Member.

At this time you will be invoiced for:
-Pro-rata annual subscription fees (based on start date)
-Entrance fee balance if applicable
-Golf Australia affiliation fees
-Any applicable Capital Works Levies

Applicants must finalise their membership within 30 days of receiving an offer.
