Welcome New Members: Join Us for a Spring Valley Information Evening

Spring Valley Golf Club is delighted to invite our newest members to a special series of New Member Information Evenings in March and early April.

If you’ve joined the Club since 1 January 2025, this event is designed especially for you. Hosted by Club President Steve and Captain Marty, these relaxed and informative evenings will officially welcome you to the Spring Valley community and help you feel confident, connected and at home.

These evenings are a great opportunity to meet fellow new members, connect with the Board and Management team, and gain valuable insights into how to make the most of your membership.

What to Expect

During the evening, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Receive a formal welcome from the President and Captain
• Hear updates on the Club’s future plans and capital works program
• Learn more about Club rules, activities and etiquette
• Ask questions during an open Q&A session
• Meet fellow new members and start building connections
• Enjoy complimentary drinks and canapés
• Win some fantastic prizes, including lucky door and activity prizes
• Optional Pre-Event Activities (Complimentary)
• Get involved before the presentations begin with a range of fun and interactive activities:

Putting Clinic with PGA Professional Tim Angwin

Hole-in-One Challenge from the 19th Hole
Hosted by trainee professionals Chen Yu and Patrick Carlon

5:30pm – 6:15pm
Putting Competition on the practice green

Evening Program

5:30pm – Welcome drinks and refreshments in the Members Lounge & putting competition
6:30pm – President & Captain presentations, Club updates and Q&A
7:30pm – Lucky door prize draw and close

Why Attend?

These sessions revisit important information shared with members over the past 12–18 months, including Club planning and capital works updates, while providing clarity, context and the chance to ask questions. Most importantly, they’ll help you feel informed, engaged and part of the Spring Valley community.

We strongly encourage all eligible new members to attend.

A Note for Existing Members

These sessions are specifically tailored for new members and focus on introductory information, capital works updates previously shared in member forums, and Club orientation topics.

Existing members won’t miss out — dedicated Member Forums for all members are scheduled for April 2026, with further details to be shared soon.
