Harry sends his best.

At last October’s AGM, Club President Steve Foulds presented Diamond Member Certificates to a select group of members who have each been part of Spring Valley Golf Club for 60 years or more.

One of those members, Harry Marks, was unable to attend on the night. Recently, however, Steve had the pleasure of visiting Harry personally to present his certificate.

Well known to many of our long-standing members, Harry holds a special place in club history as the oldest living winner of the Spring Valley Cup. While he would love to be out on the course defending his title once again, his playing days are now behind him.

Harry looks back fondly on his many years at Spring Valley and asked Steve to pass on his warm regards to his friends at the club, along with his very best wishes to the Spring Valley community.
