Festive Period Course, Administration and Clubhouse Hours

As we fast approach the festive season, and holidays for many, it is timely to remind you of some of the operational adjustments that will be made over the coming weeks.
While it will be business as usual for the most part, historically our admin side of things quieten down over the festive season, so we reduce the hours that we have staff on – offering the team a very, very well deserved rest!!
There are some minor changes in other departments, as noted below – and as a reminder – the course, practice facilities and clubhouse are closed on Christmas Day for everyone.
ADMINISTRATION: As the holiday season approaches, we would like to advise members of the changes to our administration office hours over the festive period.
Reduced Staffing & Hours: From Monday, December 15th, the office will operate with limited staffing and reduced hours of 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Office Closures: The administration office will be closed from Wednesday, December 24th to Monday January 5th.
Regular Weekend Closures: The administration office will remain closed on all weekends throughout December and January.
The office will resume to normal operating hours on Monday 19th January.
COURSE & DRIVING RANGES: Christmas Day: The course and all practice facilities are closed to members and guests on Christmas Day, 25th December.
Southern Driving Range Hours of Operation: The southern driving range will be open from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM, at which time the gates will be locked. Last golf balls on the Southern Range must be purchased by 5:00 PM.
Members arriving at the course after 5:00pm to practice are encouraged to use the Northern range, or the course and short game areas in line with club policy (ie. two balls in play on course, 10 maximum on the chipping green).
Please note that every fortnight throughout the year, the southern range will close at 3:00 PM on the Monday afternoon and reopen by 12:00 NOON the following day for maintenance.
CLUB BAR AND BISTRO FACILITIES: The Clubhouse will be closed on Christmas Day, December 25th.
Bar Operating Hours:
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Weekends: 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM
Menu Update: After Christmas, an updated, slightly reduced summer menu will be implemented, and will remain in place throughout January, and a new menu will commence in February.
Daily specials will continue to be available.
GATE ACCESS: Members are advised, that the automatic gate at our Heatherton Road entrance will close at 3pm. There has been an incident or two when vehicles have entered the property afterhours, most likely inadvertently, but this is something we would prefer to avoid, particularly after dark.
This is likely to be of no consequence to most, especially at this time of year, however it may impact those reliant on Taxis, Ubers or other lifts home. If this is the case, and you are planning on leaving after 6pm, there are two options. One, is likely to be the undesirable one, which is to walk to the Heatherton Road Gate, so we recommend you use the pickup address 2 Graham Rd, Clayton South VIC, and wait for your lift outside the Graham Rd gate.
If you are having a guest join you for an afternoon round, please ensure you arrive together, so you can open the gate for them.
