House Cup Day: Founder’s Trophy and Annual Presentation Dinner

Join us for House Cup Day 2026 on Sunday, 8th February, where the Founder’s Trophy will be up for grabs! All members with Sunday playing rights are welcome and encouraged to take part.

The Founder’s Trophy is a mixed 4BBB Stableford event, with the top mixed pair claiming the major prize. For non-mixed pairs, the battle is just as fierce, as Team Leech and Team Courtney go head-to-head for ultimate bragging rights.

Led by President Steve Foulds, Team Courtney will challenge Captain Marty Rodgers’ Team Leech in a golfing showdown like no other! Secure your spot on the timesheet cells 1 & 2 are for Team Courtney, and cells 3 & 4 are for Team Leech.

Non-mixed pairs are welcome to play in the day, however they will not be eligible to win the Founder’s Trophy. All scores will count towards the Courtney vs Leech overall score.

Following the event, members are encouraged to stay for presentations and join in the celebrations of our 2025 competition winners, recognise our Club Champions and honour our Loyalty Members reaching milestones. Annual trophy presentation will be conducted and a 2 course dinner will be on offer.  

Please note it is customary that those participating in the event will join their playing partners and guests for dinner and celebrate the achievements of their fellow members.  Dinner bookings are being taken on a separate timesheet and we do ask members to ensure they are booked on both.

Cells 1 & 2 on the timesheet will represent Team Leech – Cells 3 & 4 on the timesheet will represent Team Courtney.

Annual Presentation Dinner

Cost: $65.00pp
Includes: 2 Course dinner
Dinner: 6:00pm for 6:30pm service

Dinner Menu

Main:
Eye Fillet Steak, served with puy lentils, carrot, potato puree, Shimeji and king brown mushrooms and red wine jus.

Sharing Bowls Per Table:
A medley of assorted steamed vegetables with toasted almonds and parmesan cheese
Steamed chat potatos with chive and lemon butter

Dessert
Buttermilk and mango panna cotta, served with tropical fruits, lime leaf and palm sugar dressing


Members’ accounts will be charged prior to the event. All cancellations need to be made within 48 hours and dietary requirements should be forwarded to reception@springvalleygolfclub.com.au
