Spring Valley Golf Club has moved up one position in the most recent golf course rankings\u00a0for Golf Australia magazine.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The 2018 rankings saw Spring Valley move up to be ranked as the 42nd best in Australia and as the ninth best in metropolitan Melbourne.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The judges wrote:<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the most underrated Melbourne Sandbelt tracks is now starting to be recognised for its quality,” one reviewer wrote.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“Well-designed strategic holes, and good bunkering, make this a great course to play.”<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Another judge wrote: “The finishing touches still remain to be applied, but there are moments where Spring Valley is as good and as fun as anything in Melbourne.\u201d<\/p>\n

The criteria the judges used to rank Spring Valley were 60 percent design, 20 percent condition and 20 percent visual appeal.<\/p>\n
