This past Sunday saw the fifth and final round of the 2025 junior pennant season played. On a scorching afternoon, both the Spring Valley Scorpions of region 2 and the Spring Valley Scorpions #2 of region 4 hosted their respective opponents at Spring Valley. <\/p>\n

The region 2 Scoprions hosted West Gippsland in a top of the table clash to determine who makes the quarter final from the region. The Scorpions put on a dominant display in testing conditions to run away winners 5.5-0.5 and cement their spot on top of the region 2 leaderboard. Strong wins from Jasper Xu, Tom Veitch and Nicole Li were the highlight performances of the day.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Spring Valley Scoprions #2 of region 4 played host to Woodlands Golf Club, looking for a big win to give them a chance of making the finals. In a tight tussle the Scorpions #2 struggled to find momentum going down 3.5-2.5. Strong comebacks from Nigel Li and Henry Vu were the highlights of the day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course was once again in magnificent condition and the opening of the new holes was well received by both the Spring Valley players and their opponents. A special mention must be extended to Craig and his team for their magnificent work to date.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It brings the end to a memorable season for both of the young Spring Valley sides. A big congratulations to all of the players on a successful season and a big thank you to the parents for all of their hard work. The information in regards to the quarter final for the region 2 side is yet to be confirmed.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
