Result:<\/strong> Spring Valley def. Patterson River 5\u20130<\/p>\n

Perfect conditions greeted the team at Yarra Yarra Golf Club for the fifth round of the Women\u2019s Interclub competition. With sunshine and no wind, it was a welcome change and ideal for a strong team performance.<\/p>\n

Representing Spring Valley were Rita Yadrak, Phoebe Burfield, Hannah Nguyen, Kate McGuckin<\/strong>, and Christine McMahon; <\/strong>and what a performance they delivered! A clean sweep, winning all five matches, showcased both skill and determination.<\/p>\n

Rita Yadrak<\/strong> led the team out and set the tone early with a composed and accurate display, claiming a confident 4&3<\/strong> victory. Her consistent ball striking and focused play gave the team an excellent start.<\/p>\n

Phoebe Burfield<\/strong> followed with another strong performance, combining power off the tee, solid bunker play, and steady putting to secure an impressive 4&2<\/strong> win.<\/p>\n

Hannah Nguyen<\/strong>, in just her second Interclub appearance, showed maturity beyond her experience. Playing controlled and consistent golf, she adapted beautifully to the conditions and was rewarded with a 4&3<\/strong> win.<\/p>\n

Kate McGuckin<\/strong> battled back after being three down at the turn. With some helpful words from her caddy and renewed focus, she played composed golf on the back nine to claim a 2up<\/strong> win on the 18th hole.<\/p>\n

Christine McMahon<\/strong>, our final player, showed incredible grit and resilience. Despite feeling it wasn’t her best game, Christine\u2019s determination and smart course management saw her come out on top 1up<\/strong> on the final hole.<\/p>\n

A big thank you goes to our wonderful caddies, whose support and guidance were greatly appreciated by all players.<\/p>\n

It was a dominant day for Spring Valley at Yarra Yarra, and every team member should be proud of their contribution. Congratulations on a fantastic 5\u20130 win!<\/p>\n
