Spring Valley junior cadet members and brothers, Will (6) and Tom (8) Veitch, took out first and second\"\" place respectively in their age groups at the 2025 Australian Junior Age Division Golf Championships, at Royal Pines Golf Course two weeks ago.<\/p>\n

The Spring Valley duo competed in the prestigious three-day tournament held on the Gold Coast, following several championship wins in the USKids Melbourne Tour over the past year.<\/p>\n

This July, Tom and Will will take their talents to the international stage, representing Australia (and Spring Valley GC!) at the U.S. Kids Golf World Championships in North Carolina, USA. They have also scored invites to further international events in California and Ireland this year and next.<\/p>\n

The boys first picked up clubs as toddlers during Victoria\u2019s COVID lockdowns, turning backyard \u201cpretend golf\u201d sessions into a serious passion since joining Spring Valley at the start of 2024.\u00a0They now train with Marty Joyce regularly, and many members may have seen the brothers practicing on the chipping or putting greens or out on the course.<\/p>\n

Outside of golf, Tom and Will are avid sports fans who also love cricket and soccer. When they\u2019re not on the green, they\u2019re kicking a ball or watching their beloved Everton FC.<\/p>\n

Make sure you say hello when you come across either or both of them – they’re always good for a chat!<\/p>\n
