Day two of the 2020 Club Championships continued today in near perfect conditions which was a much welcomed change following day one’s relentless rain.<\/p>\n

Scott Hooper and Craig Dyer continue to lead the way in Club Grade both recording consistent rounds of 72,72 to lead the pack by 7 shots.\u00a0A 3rd qualifying round on Saturday 8th February will decide the top four that will contest in the matchplay rounds.<\/p>\n

The 2020 Women’s Club Championship got underway with defending Champion Tiana Wanigasekera setting the pace leading by three strokes from Jody Doran. Thursday 6th February will see the remainder of round 1 players get underway for the Championship.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to Scott Thomson who put together two consistent rounds of 77,76 to take out the 2020 Senior Championship by an impressive 6 shots.<\/p>\n

Well done to young gun Sid Annangi on winning his 1st Junior Championship by a single shot over Aryan Sharma. Mark Templeton has found himself in top position to defend his A Grade Championship after solid rounds of 81,77. Krishnan Anandeswara was the standout in B Grade qualifying in top place by an outstanding 7 shots.\u00a0Rob Wills distanced himself from the pack in C Grade after recording a blistering 81 in the 2nd round.<\/p>\n
