Our Vision for Junior Golf at Spring Valley<\/h2>\n

The Spring Valley Junior Development Program has been created to provide every junior golfer with a place to belong, develop, and enjoy the game, regardless of age, ability, or long-term ambition.<\/p>\n

Our philosophy is simple: \u201cFind your place, play the game, love the game.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Whether a child wishes to play socially, represent the Club, or pursue elite competition, our program offers a clear, supportive, and enjoyable pathway.<\/p>\n

Program Goals<\/h2>\n

The Junior Development Program is designed to:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Provide a clear pathway for all juniors, from beginners to elite players
\u2022 Follow best-practice junior development principles aligned with Golf Australia
\u2022 Build a sustainable, year-round program integrated with junior membership
\u2022 Recognise effort, improvement, and sportsmanship through rewards and milestones
\u2022 Support holistic development, including confidence, teamwork, and personal growth<\/p>\n

All participants are connected to Spring Valley Junior Membership, strengthening the club community and long-term engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Junior Development Program operates year-round, aligned with Victorian school terms.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Structured curriculum aligned with the SV Junior Pathway
\u2022 Development across putting, chipping, bunkers, full swing, and on-course play (Advanced level)
\u2022 Term-based assessments and individual feedback
\u2022 Junior Cadet Membership (including insurance and club benefits)
\u2022 Off-peak course access
\u2022 Full access to practice facilities during program times
\u2022 Discounted range balls outside sessions
\u2022 Use of equipment (if required)
\u2022 Recognition awards and milestones
\u2022 SV Signature Cap<\/p>\n

\u2022 Entrance fees no longer required for new juniors
\u2022 Previously paid entrance fees credited to Subscription Accounts
\u2022 Credits are non-refundable and valid while membership remains active<\/p>\n

EXCEL AT THE GAME<\/h3>\n

The application process for the Excel at the Game program is being finalised, and is expected to have full details available in March. This program is aimed at high-achieving juniors and will have set performance criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are unsure which level is most appropriate for your child, our coaching team will provide placement guidance following registration or, if required, via a trial session.<\/p>\n

We are extremely proud of the new Spring Valley Junior Development Program and the strong pathway it provides for junior golfers in 2026. The structure has been designed to support enjoyment, development, and long-term engagement with the game at every stage.<\/p>\n
